The Dog Puke Alarm Clock

I am going to make an alarm clock. It's going to be an application you can download to your phone, or for the nostalgic in the crowd, and old school flip clock. It's going to be simple. It will tell time, and the sound for the alarm with be the sound of a dog puking.

That shit would wake you up in a heart beat. Like it did to me today. I mean my real alarm clock can't get me out of bed as fast as the sound of hearing my dog retching.

It's coming I tell you. It's coming.

Now that I am up, the dog is sleeping on the couch and looks like he's got a hangover. I am awake wishing I could sleep like he is.

Bastard dog.

That is hilarious!!!

I never really thought about it, but whenever my dog pukes (and to me she has a condition I call "CED"- crap eating disorder) it makes me jump out of what I'm doing and make sure she makes it outside or at least to the back terrace.

So, I'm sure if I had this kind of alarm it would definitely do the trick for me in the mornings!

Have a great day and thanks for the good laughs!

And that my friend is why i don't have a dog.

You will soon have a second setting for the clock.. at 2am. Baby crying. Good luck.

I would have to create an alarm clock that sounds like a baby barfing.. that would get you up and moving for sure.

That's so...creepy Dx But yes, if I heard something like that, I would IMMEDIATELY wake up.

Another thing that gets to me are those mosquito rings, those high-pitched frequency ringtones that children can hear but some adults can't and stuff.

THAT BUGS THE HELL OUT OF ME @__@

Well that would wake me up, but I think just car alarm sounds would do the trick as well, and throwing in some drilling and construction sounds in the background of that. Although now that I think of it, that might not work for people in NYC, we sleep through that crap all the time.

Hammacher Schlemmer or one of those companies created one that launches a helicopter that flies around the room making the alrm sound. You have to get out of bed, catch the helicopter device and put it back on the stand for it to shut off. It was $50 last I saw.

I've been there myself. I've got 3 dogs, two that stay in the house, and I agree...nothing makes you move out of the bed faster than the thought of cleaning dog vomit off the bedroom rug. I love your humor!!!

No need for invention such as this. Hang in a bit longer and your new baby will ensure you never again wake up after 6 am. I have one and after fourteen months I could still set my alarm clock by her!

hahaha I can relate! My dog gives me about 5-10 seconds of heaving before out comes the upchuck.... I never move as fast as I do during those few seconds to get her off the bed, out the door or onto any non-carpented area... It has in fact been my alarm clock in the past as well haha.
